SpiritedRide...
By (I am an Owner) on May 10, 2011I refuse to accept the mid-life crisis explanation. Last fall I bought a used Spirit 750 after not owning a bike in over 30 years. What a fool I have been for not owning one a lot sooner. Smooth ride with plenty of power for taking along my wife. We live in Southeast Alaska so our riding season ... is somewhat limited for half the year but we sure are loving every minute we get on this bike. We can go into the mountains and still have all the power we need to zip through the curves. Of course bears and moose limit the speed more than horsepower. The Spirit has a very smooth ride and I love the low ride that it offers. I am very proud to ride along with my Harley friends and even thought I catch a lot of flack, I love my 750.

Great Bike
By (I am an Owner) on May 10, 2009This bike is nothing short of a great ride. Off the showroom floor, you get everything that you want from a motorcycle and nothing that you dont. The aftermarket for this bike is extensive, offering everything from sadlebags and windshields to straight pipes and re gear sprokets. I have added a Corbin ... leather saddle, windshield and sissy bar to mine, with a re gear 44 tooth sproket and Cobra straight pipes in the works. The stock pipes are still pretty loud once you take the baffles out, but I think the straight pipes go with the flow of the bike better. This is also the last Chain driven Shadow Honda made, all Shadows from now on are shaft driven. The stock sprokets make it feel like its missing the top gear, but the regear kit lowers the RPM's at speed, and its cheaper than trying to customize the transmission. All in all, a great bike for the old school enthusiast and 100% customizable for your personal preference. 8.5 out of 10
