one good thing came out of hurricane KATRINA

AUGUST 29 2005 LEFT NEW ORLEANS DUE TO KATRINA. CAME BACK TO NEW ORLEANS TO A SIGHT YOU WOULD NEVER BELIEVE, THAT WAS 3 MONTHS LATTER. Lots of fun with a little dough

Everyone seems to want what they want. For a few of us light in the wallet riders, we have to make compromises. But, getting a bit more than you would expect from a Honda, describes the vtx 1300. It is heavy enough to feel solid at freeway speeds while still manageable as a daily commuter to and ...from work. The power is more than most people will ever effectively use. I have had 200 pounds worth of passenger and gear riding two up and, highway speeds come very easy still. Along with renown Honda reliability and miser pricing, the vtx 1300 is just a little more and, a little better in all areas than I need. my primary bike is a yamaha roadstar,

it is heaven on concrete,but in traffic on hot summer days, it's a bit out of it's element.i bought a 1300 vtx, to get me through the dog days,and it is a perfect soloution.liquid cooled and fast, and the pullback bars split the lanes better than beach bars,

...honda is considerate, and it grows on you,still love my roadstar more,but not by much. Read Full Review

Awesome deal

I bought my Honda VTX 1300s 2 years ago and love every aspect of it. The ride is awesome , the looks are standoutish and the price was actually fair for a left over but brand new bike.

I have taken this bike on trips, cruises and just down town for a quick cool down after mowing.

I own on...e other Honda and one Harley and this would be the last bike I would part with.
If I had one gripe it would be the low budget plastic chrome used in several areas but then again my wallet was much brighter after leaving the dealer. Read Full Review
