    my primary bike is a yamaha roadstar,

    it is heaven on concrete,but in traffic on hot summer days, it's a bit out of it's element.i bought a 1300 vtx, to get me through the dog days,and it is a perfect soloution.liquid cooled and fast, and the pullback bars split the lanes better than beach ...

    honda is considerate, and it grows on you,still love my roadstar more,but not by much.

    I bought my Honda VTX 1300s 2 years ago and love every aspect of it. The ride is awesome , the looks are standoutish and the price was actually fair for a left over but brand new bike.

    I have taken this bike on trips, cruises and just down town for a quick cool down after mowing.

    If I had one gripe it would be the low budget plastic chrome used in several areas but then again my wallet was much brighter after leaving the dealer.
