Honda vtx 1300 ? not so good
By (I am an Enthusiast) on Oct 17, 2014I was riding a Honda vtx 1300 this year.It was the worst ideea ever. The sensation was I ride a woodwn log.No handeling, no cornering, a constant tendence to go thru the right side of the road. The exhaust pipes are to far from the frame and debalance the motorcycle. To big front weel ,dont let you ... kuick go round the obstacles, comfort is not so well, the gearbox give the sensation of an agricultural machine. The only good thing is the fuel consumption, around 5,5 lt/100 km.

Comfortable, reliable, economical
By (I am an Owner) on Dec 31, 2012On the recommendation of a friend who owned one, I started looking at the Honda VTX 1300. After comparing others' reviews and searching out availability I contacted owners and looked at some bikes. I found one in Montreal that was low mileage and the right price. That was four years ago and I'm ... very happy with my choice. Regular maintenance and fuel is all it takes to keep this bike on the road. It's comfortable for riding all day. It's reliable is all kinds of weather; starts, runs and holds the road, although I haven't tried snow. And it's good on gas; just over 50 miles per imperial gallon on the highway. I'm set for the foreseeable future.

1300 VTX
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 02, 2009Compared the Road King when I bought this bike. VTX handled better, was more comfortable and cost 5 grand less. After 25,000 miles I am not disappointed. 16,000 miles on a set of tires, still runs like the day it was purchased and I would do it again.
