By  (I am an Owner) on May 13, 2011

I am 48yrs old and have owned all types and brands of motorcycles in my 32yrs of riding. In my latest addition I bought a 2002 1100C Shadow in 2008 and must say I should of bought it sooner! Very beautiful bike, very low maintinance, comfortable ride, and plenty of smooth power to hang with my Harley ...

  • Nice Bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 19, 2008

I find the 1100 Spirit to be a good highway bike. It seems light and nimble. The throttle response is good. It gets about 55 mpg on the highway at 70 mph. I determined, in its stock configuration, it will out-perform nearly all stock Harleys. My Harley-owning friends like my Honda. It also vibrates ...

I'm 62 years old with a bad back. The Showdow Spirit shakes and vibrates a little to much for me. The bike is of a 1980s vintage and is no longer being manufactured with is probably a good thing.
