Best Harley Ever!
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 23, 2015This is my 5th personally owned motorcycle, and 3rd Harley. I have also been issued 5 Harley's for work. My 2015, has been the biggest leap in HD quality, of all. When the 2009's were introduced, everyone praised it's advancement. I never really got it. For my job, it had more negatives than not. ... My 2013, really started to come together. The rattles were almost all gone. And the fit and finish, is world class. But, the ABS system was still not refined. Choppy pavement made for a scary ride.. With the introduction of the 2014-2015 models, the creature comforts are finally on par for a $23,000 bike. Well, maybe that stretching it a little. I find the handling characteristics to be even better than my 2013
FLH Police model. The linked breaks are a huge advancement! So is the power increase. After a little tweaking; ie., cat-less ceramic headers, Bassani DNT pipes, HD stage 1 intake and a super tuner pro, I'm Dyno'd at 86.46 HP, and 107.44 TQ. That's fantastic power, for not cracking the case. I also appreciate the saddle bag latches and the pre installed battery tender plug. The 6.5 Boom system, is ok... 25 watts per channel, is laughable. They put a racehorse of a head unit/ navigation system in, and pair it with crappy speakers. For $23,000, 6 1/2" speakers, should be standard. Especially with the lousy windshield. The Daymaker headlight, should be standard. It's a huge safety improvement, over the standard headlight. Period!
I know that I've mentioned several flaws, and they are very correctable with the almost endless aftermarket parts. But with the very few flaws, you also get one of the best looking motorcycles, in the world. Hell, even the wheels finally look great!! I absolutely, love this motorcycle, and so will you...
