Upgrade hard choice
By (I am an Owner) on Aug 11, 2014I have been riding for 40 years. I traded my 2011 Limited for the 2014 Ultra Limited. I was pondering at first but on or way to Monteray Ca the Harley was breaking in a 2014 Limited for rentals. I looked it over then took the plunge. I am 6'6" so later I put a tall Boy seat on it SWEET!. It is lower ... in the front end so I don't get that up top sway and it handles a lot better. I live in the desert of California and it handels better in soft sand. I just wished it came with a taller windshield.

Dissapointed with Rushmore
By (I am an Owner) on May 18, 2014I have purchased a Harley Ultra Limited classic have have clocked up just under 4.000 miles during this time I have had to have new speedo and rev counter as water had got inside them both great not water resistant !! I am waiting on front and back wheel replacements as the chrome is peeling off ... and a boom box because yet again itv was steaming up when it rained(it does rain in England) now I find that the water pump has broken and I shall have to wait yet again for a replacement. At this rate it will be a 2015 bike. I am really disappointed with this bike as I have owned 3 Harleys before this and had not issues with them.
So much for the new look Rushmore I think it should be renamed Rush less.
Lets hope the dealer can get it sorted before the end of a very short summer

2014 Electra Glide Ultra Limited
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 04, 2014Have been riding for 6 years working up to the moment I bought something new from a Honda Rebel 250 through Shadows large and small and a Fat Boy I was ready for A Road King. Because we were adding many options and driving the price near the Electra Glides I test drove one and the difference was ... noticeable before we left the parking lot I knew the Ultra was the one. At lower speeds it handles very nicely, nimble on it's feet. at speed it practically drives itself. The controls for the various "GOODIES" are conveniently and easily located on the handle bars helps keep your eyes on the road with a little practice. If you have the means or are just paying it forward to yourself do it. The comfort of the stock seat is amazing, usually after a coupe hours the bum is telling the bladder to fake it, not so anymore i can easily go the distance between fill ups. Looking forward to the first long haul.
