Best Bike Yet

this is my 4th motorcycle and 2nd HD, I think this is an almost perfect motorycle. For a large bike this motorcycle handles like a dream, leaning easily in the curves and slides right through them. About the only thing I would complain about this and other HD bikes is I wish HD would put the full ...chrome on the front forks and there is buffeting with the stock windshield which is easily fixed with a slightly taller one. First off if you are goin to spend $20,000 on a motorcycle maybe you should do some homework first. Anyone that knows anything about mechanics will tell you torque means horsepower. Harley's website shows you the torque rating for the streetglide is 92.6 ft lbs. Harleys are a low RPM high torque mot...or. They are also built for style and comfort. So if you are looking for the fastest bike on the road then maybe you should shop for a crotch rocket. I traded in a 2008 Vulcan 900 for a 2010 Streetglide and couldn't be happier. The comfort and ride is extremey supperior. But if you are in the market for a new bike I suggest you be patient, do your homework, and again do not get in a hurry, this is a big investment. HD Home Run

In my second week of great riding, with my fourth HD. I also have an 100th Ultra which replaced my Gold Wing in 2003. It took some adjusting to the HD, but my insurance agent said thanks. Now he is upset again, touring speed, great handling and 56 mpg to boot. Not sure what others want, but for ...me this 2010 Street Glide is the most perfect two wheeled soul mover I have riden in over 40 years of BMW's, Honda's, Kawasaki's and even one Guzzi. Oh, I do have four HD's in my stable and all were new when I got them, one 03 Ultra, one 04 Deuce, one 07 Sporty 883 and now my 2010 Street Glide. Love my '10 Street Glide

I really enjoy riding my '10 Street Glide that I got when I traded in my '09 DYNA. The DYNA was like riding a Oldsmobile Cutlass where the Street Glide was like driving a Cadillac. I've owned all 4 so I should know. The only complaint I had with the Street Glide was getting it in neutral at red l...ights. It was like trying to balance an egg. The arthritis in my hands prevents me from pulling in the clutch for excessive lengths of time. Then I had the 1000 mile service performed and opted to use synthetic oil and the shifting into neutral problem went away. The day before my 8" windshield arrived I was stung by a bee on the neck, the short stock windshield is basically useless. Even now I wish I had gotten a 10" (I'm 5' 11" by the way). One of my other basic improvements was the installation of 1.25" floorboard extensions, I'm a rather wide person and it was a great improvement on my knees. I can definitely tell that the longer 400 mile trips are going to be a lot more enjoyable now. Read Full Review

HD Head Turner

I have been riding since I was seven and finally decided to bite the bullet and purchase what I've always wanted...a Harley! I did my homework and waited for improvements to be made to the Street Glide chassis. I must say that HD hit a homerun with this one. The lines are beautiful and are compli...mented everytime I ride! It handles like a dream and rides like a Cadillac. If you want to ride 140 mph you probably dont need to be on a motorcycle anyway! The torque curve is great and you can get the front wheel off the payment from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. That's good enough for me! Read Full Review
