My Trike runs great now. With my wife on the back we can pass Trucks on the Interstate and crank way passed 85 to pass t...hem. I have had mine over 100mph with no problem. It runs great and also put Amsoil in all three jugs and she runs cooler and sounds better too.

Disappointed with the TriGlide

I purchased a TriGlide Ultra last May and have been disappointed ever since. I have spent several hundreds of dollars to improve performance and still not that great. I have put stage 1 air, Vance Hines pipes, and fuel pak but still a dog and barely get thirty MPG. I am in the market to trade it ...ASAP after only 4000 miles. Disappointing

I purchased a 2009 TriGlide because I invisioned it being safer to ride in my later years. Perhaps that is still a fact however I was very disappointed in how it rode and handled. Think about it, with a two wheeler you can zig or zag to miss a bump or pothole since you only make one track. Howeve...r with a three wheeler you have three tracks to be concerned about and it is nearly impossible to avoid any bumps or potholes. My second complaint was with the effort it takes to simply push through corners. Again with two wheels you simply lay it over and away you go, but with the tri glide you actually have to push the handle bars through the turns. Now I am not a small person, six foot, 280 pounds but after riding for a few hours my shoulders ached for the next day or two. Therefore much to my wifes disappointment I have traded back to a two wheeler. Maybe it is just me, but this bike is not for me and future buyers should absolutely test drive one before making the very large investment. One more complaint, these are way underpowered.
