great bike HEY SHAKE .......BIKE NEEDS A NECK ADJUSTMENT

2009 Flhr is a fantastic machine. The 09 is a much tighter bike than the previous frame. My only complaints are the width of the stock seat (makes it tough for me to flat foot the bike, I'm 5'10", no problem on 08 and earlier) and the front end loosened up before 2000 miles. My dealer took c...are of it without complaint. A dealer or any qualified service tech should never tell you a wobble or shake is normal and to deal with it. You spent alot of money to ride a trouble free bike, make the dealer fix it. Call or threaten to call corporate HD. Corporate will call the dealer with you on the phone and trust me the dealer will take care of it quick! They don't want trouble from the moco. I forgot where I put the number, go to harleydavidson.com you will find something there. The Road King is a bike that does pretty much anything...Put on the windshield, backrest and t-bag and you can ride 500+ miles in a day or in 5 seconds the windshield is off and its ready for a blast down the boulevard or even a twisty mountain road at a reasonable speed of course. i have about 2500 miles on my road king and its developed a little shake in the handle bars when you take your hands off.took it to the harley dealer and they checked it out and found nothing wrong.harley said as long as you keep your hands on the bars and no shake theres nothing wrong.anyone else h...ave this problem.....steve Read Full Review

Great bike! Classic look and smooth ride!!!

I wanted a classic-looking Harley-Davidson that would be comfortable for 2-up riding. The Road King was it. I went with the base model and not the classic because of the hard, locking saddlebags. This bike is great on the open road, and cruise control adds that extra comfort for the long haul. tracking

Bougha a new Road King Classic.Lots of power beautiful bike.I have a problem with tracking.When I keep my hands lightly on yhe bars and let the bike steer itself I have to lean a bit to the right.There was an article in Motorcycle consumers news I am trying to get a copy of. Best one yet!!!

This bike is one of the best handeling bikes I have rode.I came from a soft tail to a low rider(fantastic bike)to the King.One of the best options I put on the bike was a set of 14" wild ones.If your thinking of bars I would suggest those.I rode a bike with the heritage bars they were not for m...e.If you go to your local Harley shop take one for a ride and if it has a few miles on it so the tires are roughed up get into a corner and lean that big hog you will be amazed how it handles.
