  • Solid ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 09, 2015

I have about 1,000 miles on my 06 Electra Glide Standard. I went to it from a Victory Cross Roads. While the Victory is a more advanced bike, the Standard is more fun to ride. My style is laid back with upright posture, and this bike fits perfectly. I am 6'1", and do NOT feel cramped on this ...

  • I had better H-D's
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 24, 2011

I picked my 2006 carburetor and I have had so much trouble with the carburetor that I put a S&S in my bike, that did OK for a week then It did the same I went to what I was told was some of the best H-D mechanics in MI. but I'm still running rich and popping, missing, just running like crap! • Most Comfortable Harley I've ridden
By  (I am an Owner) on Jan 13, 2010

I have been a Motorcycle enthusiast since I was a kid. Riding Harley Davidson

MC since 1974.My 2006 Electra Glide Standard purchase in October 2005 was the first Touring Model I have ever owned. A big change from riding the Pans ,

    Shovel heads and newer Softails.

    100 mile rides ...

After riding 8500 miles last season I would never ride anything but one of the Harley Touring models. It feels so balanced when you pull up to stop.

Its holds the road riding in a head wind or side winds. But at 6 ft and 230 lbs I am at the max for legroom.

  • 2006 Electra Glide Standard
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 01, 2009

I have been riding for years and my 1985 FXRSE was getting tired. I got a new 2006 FLHT in july 06 and only have 3200 miles on it. I'm 6 3" and I have moved the floor boards up but feel very cramped on this bike. I rode older FLHTs back in the day but the new ones suck for comfort for any over 6ft.My ...

    Very Unhappy with this Bike.
