2004 Harley-Davidson Electra Glide® Classic

I bought this bike new and the only part I have replaced is a heat sensor. Its a reliable bike that will give you years of enjoyment. And of course its a classic. Will never go out of style.

I bought my 04 Electra Glide Classic in December of 03. Since that time my wife and I have traveled throughout the Southeast on daily trips, weekend outings and extended vacations. We have never had an issue or a breakdown.

I have never had a warranty issue to be resolved so I cannot ... address the warranty services.

My only complaint is the cost of routine services at the dealerships. I have found some local shops much more economical.

I bought a used Electraglide Classic. I took it in to get an Easy Clutch installed as the clutch was stiff. It has been expensive after that as the Mechanix kept finding things, first they said they had to re-tap the screws holding the pipes on as they were stripped, then they said that the Y-Pipe ... was cracked, then the inside seal was leaking and so on. It has cost me almost $2000 and I haven't had the work done on the LEak or the Y-Pipe as I am not convinced that the work is needed. Now I am very suspicious and am only willing to get work done if it can be proven to be needed as I don't trust their word. Other than this I love the bike. It starts good, runs great and as long as the repairs stay to a minimum I have nothing bad to say about it.
