    in order to do any work on the transmission you have to completely disassemble the entire motor . This is a stupid design change and why it makes this bike junk . Before this you could unbolt and remove the tranny after pulling clutch basket off . Very simple and easy to do . Now you have to completely ...

    I bought an 2008 v-rod - night rod. Not nearly as flashy as my old mans 2006 screamin eagle, but I have no problems keeping up with him....and MUCH less chrome to polish! AND - When we stop for gas (cause he is empty)...I still have half of a tank!

    Gives people time to oogle HIS bike, ...

    Love my vrod...powerful, agile, what you call a "sleeper". While they are staring at the pretty orange one, the dark red one is zooming past you. Harley Davidson needs to put a bit of advertising behind this one. It would appeal to a bigger audience if more people knew about it, and might sway the potential buyers who are stuck on "classic" Harley looks!
