  • Rear Wheel Defective
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 14, 2011

We were so happy to buy our 2010 HD Heritage and looked forward to some great rides. However, we've encountered and ongoing issue with the rear wheel and a string of five flat tires in less than a year (fewer than 10,000 miles on the bike). The dealership doesn't seem to be able to identify the ...

We are disappointed in the that the bike hasn't lived up to our expectations, but hope the problem can be resolved soon.

  • Will Do It Again
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 31, 2011

I traded in my 2005 Heritage for a 2010. I love the ride, the way it handles and the new 6th gear. I did have problems with both bikes when I hit a corner at a higher rate of speed but I figured out how to keep that from happening and still keep up the speed. The only negative thing I found was ...

  • Love the bike, hate the seat for the driver
By  (I am an Owner) on Dec 26, 2010

I bought my first Harley and have loved it, my dad and my grand father both have had Harley's but nothing recently. I have found the passenger seat is great for my fiancee but the driver seat is not comfortable compared to the Road King on rides over 4 hours... I have been looking for an upgraded ...

  • A do it all bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 24, 2010

Traded my 09 Sportster at the end of July using the "Ride free for a year" Harley program. The Sportster wasn't great for 2 up and wife discovered that she enjoyed riding. I can't find a fault with the Heritage. Very comfortable ride, smooth, plenty of power and excellent, effortless handling. The ...

  • My 2nd H-D
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 21, 2010

Picked up this sweet ride a few Month's ago. I doubt I could be happier. And I agree about the right leg heat. Picking up a heat shield when I can. Probably same time as I do stage one. This bike rides like nothing I've ridden and I've ridden since I was 12 and I'm over 50 now. For me it also took ...

  • Fabulous motorcycle
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 16, 2010

I'm 56 y/o and own two bikes, a Honda VTX 1800 and a Harley Softail Standard. I just got back from flying to Las Vegas where I rented a Heritage Softail Classic from Eaglerider. I put 1,550 miles on it in one week, riding thru Death Valley, up Mt Whitney, across to the coast and Big Sur (lots of ...

  • WONDERFUL BIKE
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 27, 2010

I Love this Bike. I just traded my 2010 H-D Super Glide Custom, that bike was great too. However, it did not love me back. The vibrations just was too much for me handle. Whats the point in riding if your in pain. So, during the 1K service on my Super Glide, I told the dealer of my situation. They ...

  • New Ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 05, 2010

I've just picked up my 2010 Heritage Softail Classic it replace a 2000 Yamaha V-Star Classic.

Whilst both bikes are similar in configuration I just love the feel of the Harley. For me at least it is a more comfortable ride with plenty of get up and go.

    Really looking ...

One thing I have noticed compared to my old V-Star the footboards scrape easier.

  • Sweet Ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Jul 26, 2010

This is my second Heritage, the first being a 2006 FLST. The 2010 has many great features over the '06. I like the power, shifting is right there - really no need for a tach. Mileage went from around 42 to over 50 after break in period. I like the new style handlebars over the older models, they ...

  • Enjoying the ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Jul 23, 2010

Just traded my '06 streetbob for the '10 Heritage and I could not be happier. The ride is very smooth and nice power also. It took about 18 hrs to hit the 500 mile break in period. It has not disappointed me in anyway as of yet. The only thing I could say negative is the mpg is not what they claim. ...

By  (I am an Owner) on Jun 23, 2010

I rented this bike for 'Bike Week' in Laconia NH. What a disappointment. It's nicely styled and the overall riding position is pretty comfortable, but the good ends there. It features an impossibly weak front brake, the windscreen cuts at exactly eye level thus distorting the road surface, it has ...

I was prepared to really like this ride, and I was profoundly disappointed.

I bought my 2010 Heritage Softail Classic in January in northern indiana and rode it home to central indiana (52 miles)32 degrees outside. this bike loves cold weather. As with all Heritage's your right led really feels the heat from the rear cylinder when its above 75 degrees outside or your stopped ...

  • One sweet ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Apr 13, 2010

I have ridden motorcycles for almost 40 years and owned both Harley's and and metric bikes. I checked out all the Harley Davidson models and chose the 2010 Heritage. The bike feels like it was custom made just for me. It is very comfortable and easy to handle both in town and on the road. I love ...
