Love the bike, hate the seat for the driver

I bought my first Harley and have loved it, my dad and my grand father both have had Harley's but nothing recently. I have found the passenger seat is great for my fiancee but the driver seat is not comfortable compared to the Road King on rides over 4 hours... I have been looking for an upgraded s...eat and on the 2011 models they have an upgraded seat but not for the 2010. Mustang has a vinyl seat but I would like to stay with leather. A do it all bike

Traded my 09 Sportster at the end of July using the "Ride free for a year" Harley program. The Sportster wasn't great for 2 up and wife discovered that she enjoyed riding. I can't find a fault with the Heritage. Very comfortable ride, smooth, plenty of power and excellent, effortless handl...ing. The detachable windshield, saddle bags and styling gives you a cruiser and a medium distance touring bike in one package. Though I would rather ride back roads the bike is great on the highway also. Sixth gear has the bike barely revved at 70 mph and the bike is as stable as could be. A very versatile bike. Read Full Review

Will Do It Again

I traded in my 2005 Heritage for a 2010. I love the ride, the way it handles and the new 6th gear. I did have problems with both bikes when I hit a corner at a higher rate of speed but I figured out how to keep that from happening and still keep up the speed. The only negative thing I found was t...hat there wasn't enough power to make it up the mountains in southern Colorado. I'm 57 and carry some weight, so after putting 900 miles on it I had my dealer do stage 1, bore it to a 103, add a cam and can't wait to ride it to Laughlin this year. it's a pig

I rented this bike for 'Bike Week' in Laconia NH. What a disappointment. It's nicely styled and the overall riding position is pretty comfortable, but the good ends there. It features an impossibly weak front brake, the windscreen cuts at exactly eye level thus distorting the road surface, it has NO... tach making shifting a guess, the gearing is too far apart (and there is no speed at which 6th is comfortable, and I had it up to 90mph), and the bike starts to shudder above 70. Furthermore, the footboards are so low that I scraped them in almost every corner, leaving a trail of sparks. I must conclude that regular riders of Harleys don't lean in the corners. The bike has tons of torque, but no perceivable power-band, making cornering a tricky event.
