First Harley for me - What was I waiting for? The answer the Fatbob! Just rolled 5000 on the odometer, No serious issues, No concerns. the only dislike is vibration at low rpm's, the first time it happened I was slowing down for a stop; I initially thought it was the front brake system, turns outs... its just one of those things. What I want to give bike kudos on are the Brakes, the dual front discs slow and stops this heavy bike on a dime! I think I owe my life to them! Bike has good smooth acceleration, excellent at Interstate speeds, will go from 75mph to 95 in a blink of an eye! the only other thing I am disappointed in is the sound, I like the look of the 2-1-2 but just not loud enough to be noticed in traffic! Whoa!! nice Ride

Well Ladies and Gents I have an 08 Fat Bob I must tell you in advance that I have been a Fat Boy fan since they came out, until I sat on the FATBOb, never has my posterior been treated so well.

I bought the Bike right there and then' with forward controls.

First thing I did was put some V&H Bi...g Radius pipes the sound will shake the rafters and peeps can hear you coming from 3 blocks away which is a good thing safety wise, A race tuner kit is a must, of course I added a few nick nacks and num nums to make it my own and will probably add a few more goodies before im done.
This bike is a pleasure to ride comfortable, it is extremely nimble,responsive and agile in the turns. Its has more than enough power to get you where you want to go in a hurry...but then why would you waist such a wonderful ride.Although it has a 6 gear tranny,5th gear is the smoothest,@ 100-115 KPH (canadian bike) after about 115PH you must go into 6th its not bad but you will want to go back to 5th gear. just cause you really dont want to ride this bike like a crotch rocket.the Fat Bob is a true cruiser. Ride this bike easy and enjoy the ride, you will really appreciate this bike if you do ;-)

FatBob 09 the Great, Good, and OK about it

This is my 1st HD, all I can say is "What took me so Long"

Great: 1. Looks, aggressive with attitude, even stock it gets sceond looks and head turns!

2. Performance, 96" and 6 speed, acceleration, with great highway gearing 75 to 90 in no time at all. Handleing is nibble, yet stabl...e for a big heavy bike.
3. BRAKES: WOW dual disk fronts and single rear has saved my butt a couple times, this 700+lbs stops very good for its weight

Good: 1. Stock seat is comfortable, no issues even on 300 mile days.
2. Love the wide grip drag style bars. 3. The fwd controls are good even for me (shorty 5' 6")

OK: 1. New model - hard to find aftermarket anythings for it! the term fits all dyna's EXCEPT really kinda sucks!
2. Exhaust is good looking; however to quiet, in traffic I want big sound! V&H here I come!
3. Engine vibration at low RPM - can catch you off guard if your it has not happened to you... ( I thought it was my brakes the 1st time)

this is got to be the best bike i have ever owned. compared to other bikes, its balance and comfort surpass anything on the road. compared to other harleys, cornering and mobility are the best. i have done some work on my bike, mainly a stage one kit with new pipes and air filter, but my only goal w...as noise, there is plenty of power when you drive it off the floor. its in a league of its own. What a bike

After years of rideing a big tourer. I rode a fat bob at a ride what you want to at a harley dealer. Wow what a bike. It was like I was a kid again on that 68 sportster. Only this time with tork and handeling like you would not believe. I ride the mountains of east Tennessee. You would not believe... the way the Fat Bob takes the back roads.
