  • Great bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 16, 2010

I've had my '08 Dyna for 2 years now it has never had any problems its still a strong runner you can still fell the quality. Even broad sided a deer and we went for a hard lay down. But other than a bent clutch handle no damage, this is a sturdy bike.

  • Smooth ride
By  (I am an Owner) on Mar 14, 2010

Bought my 08 Dyna FXD 2 years ago and have logged just under 10K miles of enjoyable riding so far. Besides the usual maintenance requirmtents, this bike has been a fantastic buy. It always starts on the first try and is ready to go all day. Built to last and be ridden.

  • Unparallel riding experience
By  (I am an Owner) on Jan 29, 2010

Riding a HD Super Glide is a unique experience, different from virtually any other bike. It is a visceral experince and one that you feel deep in your bones. It is definitely a masculine ride. The FXD is a 1584cc, 96 cubic inch, low revving, high torque, big cylinder machine. When I hit the starter ...

the clutch. It never gets old. You really feel the muscle.

Nothing about this bike seems cheap or flimsy. The quality of construction is a source of pride of American workmanship. It's a little expensive, but this bike is built to last.

It is not a bike with a great top end, and it doesn't handle like a sport bike. But riding it through the mountains in Western North Carolina is one of the finest experiences I've known. For me, motorcycling is about the worry-free enjoyment of the ride, and the FXD always comes through in a big way.

  • Great all around bike...
By  (I am an Owner) on Aug 07, 2009

Traded my '04 Sportster 1200 XLR (which I loved) for the '08 Dyna. This bike is just as they advertise, a Sporty on roids. Put a stage 1 kit on it and this 96ci engine and 6 speed tranny really get up and go...PLENTY of power and speed. The handling and suspension is very good. No complaints ...

  • pretty good bike
By  (I am an Owner) on Nov 02, 2008

I have a 2001 FXDC, and recently got the 2008 FXD. Wow, significant improvements! The 2008 is beefier compared to the older FXDC and comes with a wider rear tire, heftire fork tubes, and smoother looking signal lights. The rubber mounting of the enginer is also much better and less spine-shaking ...
