It called to me

the minute i saw the red and black on the floor. I bought this bike in Sept of 2007 and have put 15K on the bike. Most of those miles have been as a solo rider and with only myself as a companion on the road. I have ridden a 700 mile day on more than one occasion. I have ridden 3k trips on two occ...asions. I have used the shorty windshield and not used a windshield. I put a Sundowner seat on her for travel (rider back rest) but use the stock seat often and take the bags off as well as the backrest. Both seats I have sent to Florida to have Spencer to his magic. I added heated grips and the Harley fog lamps that I put on the "mustache" bars. I wanted the motolights triangular light effect. I did a stage one download and the screaming eagle pipes but used a V&H Fuel Pak, which has been flawless for me. Gives me the power I want and it cools down the bike. The 6th speed is something I would not do without. A side benefit is the attention it gets. I will have this bike for a long time. Probably until I cant ride any more as I am a lot closer to 70 than to 60 years of age. Read Full Review
