  • Springer Classic is where the fun is!
By  (I am an Owner) on Oct 20, 2008

I have had my Springer Classic for two years and I can say it is the most fun street bike I have ever owned. It is smooth, nimble and looks like a real motorcycle should look! I have ridden it on short rides around town and taken it on 1500 miles long trips with no real issues. (I did have a light ...

This beauty is a wonderful ride. It is my first Harley after owning Yamaha's and Honda's since I was 9 years old. I was concerned at first about the springs, but fell in love with the way they looked. So far, after just over 8,000 miles, I've had no issues with them. They were tuned at 5,000 miles and the ride is excellent. The only complaint I have about the bike is the seating position. It put me up a bit close on the bars. I'm only 6', but I have to push myself into the rear of the seat to be perfectly comfortable. I may try and find an aftermarket saddle that still maintains that old school look.

I know the bike isn't made any more, but if you get a chance to grab one up, you won't be dissapointed!

Large bumps in the road are felt, but are not painful. Moderate cornering will cause the floorboards to drag, which can be ...

This is a great bike if you like the looks of the classic 1948 Panhead and earlier Knucklheads. Definitely a head-turner.
