'06 softail heritage FLST/I
By (I am an Owner) on Nov 11, 2010Loved my Suzuki C90 but it had a phantom starting/charging mechanical problem that a lot of Suzuki owners experience and no one knows how to fix.
Traded it for the 2006 Heritage FLST/I and love it. It's got slightly less power than the C90 and is not quite as comfortable, but with ... the smaller chassis the Harley handles better and love the sound with the Vance and Hines pipes. Transmission is MUCH smoother. I can flat-foot it too whereas with the C90 I had to stretch just a bit.

Comfortable ride
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 16, 2008I have driven a Honda VTX 1300 for a few years. The bike was just fine for the price, size, power. etc. Then, a friend put his Heritage up for sale. It seems in my circle of friends, most ripped Harley motorcycles for being expensive, underpowered, basically junk. I rode the bike several times. ... I felt like the bike fit me like a glove. The suspension was comfortable, the bike ran smooth, and my wife loved it. Plus I enjoyed the "rumble" from the Harley v-twin that the metrics just can't match. I bought the bike, and loved it ever since. It's not the fastest motorcycle I've been on, but at my age I don't need to go that fast anymore. I'll probably change the pipes and air cleaner. To sum up the bike in one word, it would be "comfortable".
