My retro '06 Deluxe

I purchased a Deluxe in 06. I have modified it with some 98 Springer bags w/ basket weave, mud flaps to match. I purchased the bags from a friend and he cut off the fringes on the bottom. I had them replaced but8" long. I took off the rack and added a fender bib to match the bags. The ride is g...reat. Handles smoothly on the curves and has enough to keep up w/ the boys on the highway. I have added braided fringes on the hand levers, floor boards, and handlebars as well. It has a real nostalgic look wqhich is what I was looking for. I also have added some Vance & Hines true dual fish tail pipes, they are sweeeeet! I also have added the entire Willie G Skull collection on everything that I could possibly add to the bike. I highly recommend this very smooth bike. Unlike some bigger people, the seat is not a factor to me. It is actually quite comfortable. I am 6' 0" tall and slim so it is just fine. The photo below was taken before the true dual piped were added, but you get the idea. :-(

Woman rider

Just got my 06 deluxe last week. I sold my 883 sportster and what a difference in bikes. My deluxe is so easy to handle. My husband has one also but mine has the stage 1 and loud pipes. He is the bunt of jokes about me having a better bike.
