Great Scooter

Purchased it 2 weeks ago - about 190 miles so far. Very stable at under 50 mph, people who want to go faster can do it on the Buddy 150cc, but why? It is for city driving. Been looking at different models prior to this one including the SYM Fiddle II and the Kymco. Don't know why we went for the 150... cc over the 125 cc, but the scooter accelerates nicely off the line. I'd say we were getting 85 mpg right off the bat. Fit and finish excellent, no kilometer per hour markings (appeals to American customers). Simple fuel gauge. A little hard to kick start. Color-matched trunk rattles just a bit, we'll fix it. The $500 price premium over the 125 CC challenges the buyer to really think seriously about the extra 25 cc. You do get white wall tires, 2-tone color, a louder horn in addition to the upgrade in the motor, but I think $300 would be more fair for these options. Love at first ride.....

This scooter is amazing. This is my second scooter, an upgrade from a SYM Mio 50. I ride it every day and have realized that I preffer this over my Mazda Tribute. When ever I get into the Mazda my body goes on auto pilot and leans with the turns, my mind gets frustrated with the slow start and bu...lky confiend feel of the Mazda. Its a great SUV but my Italia is a part of me. Driving on the Italia its a colorful mixture of past and present! The 1950's look is a head turner (don't buy it if your not a people person because you will be interviewed by strangers at red lights and parking lots daily). I love the look and style because it leave you to beleive its a slow melow ride but its not true! Sure you can go slow if you want too but its got the power to compete with the 4 Wheelers!!! I have gotten in up to 72 mph but it is much more comfortable at 65mph, the joy I get from passing a car on the highway in a 1950's stlye scooter, no words!

I love pulling up to a red light that is packed with cars and scooting between them to front. Some drives don't know that its legal to do and I've had a few people honk in frustration, but when the light goes green I'm always leading the pack. It goes 0-60 in 7 seconds! that's better than alot of cars.

Features are more than to be exspected. The 12V VPC is perfect for my iphone. It has a dash! Not joking, with a cup holder big enough for the biggest cup at starbucks- my wallet- my phone- VPC- Headphones- and my shades! Thats so convientant. I love the load horn, I have used it on the highway and it works wonders. High and low beams are so cool! Its true that the extra storage thing rattles but its very secure, my wife leads back on it all the time as a back rest when we ride, its bolted on. Very comfortable control when riding on windy days. Its awesome and there is no need for a bulky maxiscooter its more than enough for the highway. I read about a lady that but 20,000 miles on her Italia driving across country, I'm hoping for 20,000 miles too. Read Full Review

Since our trip to Italy a few weeks ago my wife and I have been on a mission to find good gelato on a scooter like we had everyday all over Italy. Well we had to lick alot of frogs-oops- I mean gelato to finally find our prince. Go to the Oaks Mall for the taste of the gelato in Italy.
