		I have been wriding for 20 years now, having owned a small 350 cc tourer in india and a Kawasaki and Honda sport bikes in the US. Now I am a happy owner of the Multistrada DS 1000.<br /><br />
Most of the online reviews I read before purchasing the bike are spot on:<br /><br />
pros: very easy to ride, very stable at 100<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;"> mph freeway, great front brakes, amazing low end torque (makes stop and go traffic a breeze), sexy but not too loud thrum when pulling on the throttle (I have Termignoni's)<br />
Cons: mirrors are almost useless, side stand unstable, fuel guage shows empty at about half tank<br />
I use the bike mostly for commuting and am very pleased with the performance and safety. My commute includes about 20 miles of twisties in the hills (hwy 17 in Santa Cruz) and I would not do it on any other bike.<br />
Highly recommended for commuters and occasional speed freaks. </span>

First touring bike and loving it
