Putting a Disabled Man Back in The Wind
By (I am an Owner) on Jul 27, 2010I was in two terrible car accidents, which pretty much left me bedridded for the last 8 years as I can't sit or stand for more than a few minutes. I took a demo ride, had a but of trouble getting on, but the seat cradled my coccyx and lower back so much, that I am now back in the wind. I love the ... bike and have always been a Harley rider. I don't think the quality is that of a Harley as far as fit and finish (gotta love the beauty of the engine), but it also has a lot of features that Harleys do not. I think this bike opens the road to a lot of people and has sure changed my life for the better as it has for my wife's. I had to get Dr's approval for disability insurance reasons and he thoroughly reviwed the bike...think he's going to buy one and recommend them for other's like me. 5 thunbs up Cam-Am. There are some bugs that need working out, but I'm sure they'll get to those.

Really Like this Trike
By (I am an Owner) on May 27, 2010I'm four feet ten inches tall- and this is the only motorcycle I have found that I could ride comfortably straight off the lot; no modifying the trike to fit me. I was immediately at home on it, even at 70 mph on he freeway. I love the heated grips and the big windshield, the nimble handling and ... the quick stopping- and the electronic shift is smoother than my car's automatic. And I love the power; the rest of the family rides Harleys and big Suzukis, and I have no problem keeping up.
On the downside, I do wish the gas milage were a little better, and a stiff crosswind makes for a tiring ride due to the big surface area of the trike. Also, here in Canada, the prices run about $30,000 for this model. I do feel that the price could be a little lower, though it still isn't outrageous for what you get.

2010 SpYder RT
By (I am an Owner) on Apr 13, 2010After 600mi on the bike, finding it really nice not to have to balance it and the wife at every stop light and sign! The Rotax powerplant is a handfull, about the same power as my tradein was (2002 bmw 1200 rt) and very responsive. took about a day to get used to the different dynamics, but totally ... comfortable now! The ride is really smooth and adjustable, the wife loves the heated grips and the wrap around seat. The audio system with speed volume control is great with the Ipod controls. The self canceling turn signals is a nice convience. Simply a blast to ride!
