BMW R9T
By (I am an Owner) on Sep 11, 2014I've owned this bike for a little over a month and love it. The riding position provides plenty of room on this air-cooled beauty. The features are mostly a throwback to the '70's except that the power delivery is much higher and the turn in and braking are spectacular. The bike is an offering of ... an old-school motorcycle that looks incredible, yet made to be customized to the maximum. I find the primary customizations include bar position which can be change up to 2 1/4 inch without changing cables or electrics. The wheels are beautiful except they should be tubeless but are not. The bike is stunning as is but can be personalized quite easily. It can tour or carve canyons or it can commute. Some customization is required depending upon what one wants to do with it, but this bike is distinctive with the elimination of the telelever front end and goes back to a traditional look, which is all that was necessary along with the Brembo brakes and exceptional all-around suspension to make this bike appeal to anyone. Peg positions, exhausts and tunes all can be changed without hassle. Main problem? Obtaining one quickly.
