		The new 1200GS is a vast improvement on the previous model on which I did 33,000kms. The ESA is just amazing and the suspension is much more refined. The motor revs more freely and has more power  and this works extremely well with the new gearbox ratios. Again it is a more refined power delivery ri<span class="simple_review_box" >...</span><span class="expand_review_box" style="display:none;">ght through the rev range.<br />
The brakes are powerful and smooth and the chassis now feels much more responsive.<br />
A slight re-design around the front fairing has improved airflow and reduced buffetting.<br />
My bike has the new Bridgestones fitted and they are very quiet and smooth on road.<br />
Build quality is first class and this bike is ideally suited to long distance adventure touring in Australia where I live.</span>

		After test riding about a dozen mid and heavy weight dual sports I bought the 12gs. Surprisingly easy to ride at high and low speeds in many conditions, but if you do drop it, it is a chore to get it upright!<br /><br />
