Excellent, Amazing Scooter!
By Kris Law(Owner), Dec. 14, 2010
As the model name suggests, he Aprilia Sportcity 250 is sporty and it is a thrill to ride. It tops out around 90 mph while getting close to 65 mpg with a 215 lbs rider in the city. While riding in the city, there are two things that make this bike a must: the dual front disk brakes and the quick acc... Read Full Review

I LOVE it!
By Antonio Scoot(Owner), Apr. 17, 2011
I looked at several scooters, and compared this bike to the Piaggio BV 250. When I took the Sport City out with my girlfriend on it, after the first turn she said "Buy it."

I LOVE this Scooter. It is FAST. It is not a cruiser, but a performance scooter. I love it, I love it, I LOVE it!

If you can find one.... BUY IT!
By Ted Smith(Owner), Nov. 24, 2012
After 40 years of big-bikes, with my last 3 being Harleys, I found a zero-miles 2009 Sportcity that was located 250 miles away. It was worth the drive. The SC250 is a great scooter. I've been getting 70-75 mpg with city driving. I inadvertently found myself on a highway one day. At over 70 mph, I ha... Read Full Review

DOES NOT RUN ON REGULAR GAS
By Michael Warren(Owner), Jan. 2, 2013
I own the 2009, and the manual says it requires 91 octane or above, which can be adjusted according to your climate and riding needs. The gas station rating is a minimum rating they use, so the actual gas is usually slightly higher than indicated. I usually buy 89 octane, but 93 or premium is bett... Read Full Review

A very good scooter
By Scot Gossard(Owner), Jun. 3, 2013
I bought a 2009 SportCity 250 in Dec. 2012. It was brand new. It had been sitting in a warehouse and had zero miles/km on it. It's a great scooter.

My only complaint is the speedometer/odometer. They are primarily calibrated in kilometers/km per hour. The odometer can not be reprogrammed to mi... Read Full Review
