After evaluating several scoots in the 250cc range including Vespa & Sym, the Sportcity fitted my criteria. Best scoot I've owned. Used on the highway daily with the only problem to date being the replacement of a faulty (ducati brand) voltage regulator at 29500km. Owned for 22 months & have done ...

Although not recommended by Aprilia, am still on the original drive belt which I will replace shortly with a kevlar belt, Malossi # 6112855. Longest ride in a day was 850km. Longest ride in a day 2 up, 695km - mostly sitting on 100kph.

For a first time bike rider I think this bike is the greatest. Easy to handle and a dream on the road. Comfortable ride and it takes hills as well as highway with no problemws. I get 60mph too!
