Yamaha staff raises money for charity

400 needy families receive donated goods

Employees at Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A. raised $5,000 for the charity Feed the Children.

Staff at Yamaha s American headquarters in Cypress, Calif., collected the funds through office-wide fundraisers during the year and collected 400 boxes of food, juice, chips and personal items for Feed the Children. The charity provides support for children and families in need.

Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A. President Masato Adachi presented the cheque in a ceremony before a convoy 100 members of the Star Motorcycles Touring and Riding Association and local police escorted a truck filled with the donated items.

Yamaha employees raised $5,000 for Feed the Children.
With help from the Community Action Partnership of Garden Grove and Calvary Chapel West Grove, the donations were distributed to 400 families in need.
