WSBK: Two more rounds for Hacking

Hacker to race Misano and Donington Park

Jamie Hacking will compete in two more World Superbike Championship rounds for Paul Bird Kawasaki in place of the injured Makoto Tamada.

Hacking competed for the factory-supported Kawasaki team at the May 31 Utah round at Miller Motorsports Park, earning Kawasaki its best finish of the season with a seventh-place result in Race 1.

The Monster Energy Attack Kawasaki racer will have a month-long break in his AMA Daytona Sportbike schedule following the June 7 round at Road America in Elkhart Lake, Wis.,

freeing him to race in WSBK June 21 at Misano, Italy, and June 28 at Donington Park in England.

The Donington Park round will be a second home race for Hacking whose family moved to the U.S. from the U.K. when he was five.

Tamada is expected to return for the official WSBK test July 15-16 at Italys Imola circuit.
