World Superbike teams assets for sale

Foggy Petronas Racing divesting through online auction
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Mar. 26, 2008
Defunct World Superbike team Foggy Petronas Racing is selling off its equipment in an online auction.

Foggy Petronas Racing, which was owned by four-time World Superbike champion Carl Fogarty, last competed in the 2006 race season. Its remaining assets will be sold online at http://www.wyleshardy.com/.

The 500 items available for purchase include a SuperFlow Cycledyn SF-250 dynometer, a 40-foot double deck race trailer, machine tools and autographed memorabilia from Fogarty and former Foggy Petronas Racing riders Troy Corser, Garry McCoy and Chris Walker.

There should be something here for everyone from professional race teams, amateur racers to every motorcycling enthusiast, says Fogarty. Our team always prided themselves on excellence so all the items, from the race trailer down to tools and equipment are of excellent quality and in great condition.

The items may be viewed at Foggy Petronas Racings base at Burton-on-Trent, England on April 12. The deadline for bids is noon on April 17. Part of the proceeds from the auction will go to Fogartys charity, the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children.
