Polaris’ on-road division, which consists primarily of Victory motorcycles, recorded $15.5 million in sales over the second quarter compared to $10.5 million reported during the same period in 2009.
Despite a weak market for heavyweight cruisers and touring motorcycles, Victory sales increased more than 10% in North America, marking the third consecutive quarter of increased market share and retail sales.

Polaris attributes the figures to increased demand for 2010 Victory models, primarily the Cross Country and Cross Roads.
