Victory Q2 2010 Results

Victory sales continue to rise
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Jul. 21, 2010
Victory sales were up 48% according to parent company Polaris Industries second quarter 2010 report.

Polaris on-road division, which consists primarily of Victory motorcycles, recorded $15.5 million in sales over the second quarter compared to $10.5 million reported during the same period in 2009.

Despite a weak market for heavyweight cruisers and touring motorcycles, Victory sales increased more than 10% in North America, marking the third consecutive quarter of increased market share and retail sales.

Strong demand for models such as the 2010 Victory Cross Roads produced positive results.

Polaris attributes the figures to increased demand for 2010 Victory models, primarily the Cross Country and Cross Roads.
