US Highland to compete at X-Games 16

Entering X-Games was a dream of late founder

US Highland announced it will enter a factory team at the 16th X-Games in Los Angeles.

The Oklahoma-based company has signed racer Cory Green to ride the US Highland 450MX in the Super Motocross event at the X-Games 16, July 29 Aug. 1.

The X-Games have always been a dream of mine to participate in and just about everyone that rides a dirt bike as well, says Green. Im excited about the chance to get an opportunity to race there.

Entering a team in the X-Games is an important step for US Highland which is trying to move forward after the tragic loss of three of its senior executives in a July 10 plane crash. Company founder Mats Malmberg along with fellow executives Chase Bales and Damian Riddoch died in the crash. Competing in the X-Games was one of the dreams Malmberg had for the company.

I am honored to help make that dream come true, says Green.

Cory Green will compete at X-Games 16 on a US Highland 450MX.

US Highland will also showcase its line of motorcycles at the X-Games.

The interest we have received from potential dealers, the press and the motorcycle community has far exceeded our expectation, says Darin Long who succeeded Chase Bales as US Highland chief operating officer. We are very pleased to be able to demonstrate our U.S. made bikes.
