US Highland Seeks New Executives

Original managers died in July plane crash
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Dec. 21, 2010
US Highland has hired a headhunting firm to help gather a new management team.

The Oklahoma-based company has commissioned the Southbridge Advisory Group to help find experience individuals to fill the void created when several key US Highland executives died in a plane crash in July. The new executives will replace the interim management team established following the tragedy.

The loss of company President Mats Malmberg, Chief Operating Officer Chase Bales and Chief Financial Officer Damian Riddoch impacted the companys plans. Shortly before the plane crash, US Highland had opened a new factory in Tulsa and announced plans to produce electric motorcycles with magnetic hub motors. According to US Highland, the incoming executives main goal will be to minimize further delay in the companys advancement.

Until new executives are in place, Southbridge will assist in US Highlands daily operations including efforts to secure long-term funding to support product distribution.
