Squirrel sponsors 10-year-old racer

Two-BIT team more than just a shave and a haircut

With motorcycle races being determined by mere fractions of a second, racers know that every little bit helps.

When ten-year-old Michael Scott of MBS Projects hits the track in WERA Motorcycle Road Racings Mini 80 class this year, hes hoping that two bits may be even better.

Scott, whose track name is Bit will be sponsored by mortgage management company ByeByeBanker.com who is commemorating their partnership with its new mascot, a cartoon squirrel named BIT, forming the Two-BIT team.

Move over Aflac Duck and GEICO Gecko, a new toon is on the scene and he has a need for speed," says Scott.

BIT is named after Michael Scott's track name.

The Two-BIT team has already seen some success this year with a second place finish at the WERA Regional Southeast at Talladega Grand Prix Raceway Feb. 10. Last year, Scott finished second in the WERA National series.

Scott began racing motocross at age five before switching to flat track racing in 2005. This season hell be riding a 2007 Honda CRF150R Supermoto in the Mini 80 class.

Motocross is a fast-growing and fun-to-watch sport; ByeByeBanker realized what better place to launch a cartoon than in an industry full action," says Diane Gross, CEO of ByeByeBanker.com.

According to a press release, Gross decided to sponsor Scott because she understands that Motorcycle Racing has been neglected as far as sponsorship is concerned, especially in the younger classes of the sport.
