Piaggio offers free gas and top case with Fly scooters Scooter manufacturer Piaggio has a back-to-school offer for college students.

The Italian manufacturer is issuing $50 gas cards to college students who purchase a new Piaggio Fly 50 or 150 scooter.
Piaggio is also offering a matching eight-gallon top case with the purchase of the scooters, which Piaggio claims offers a fuel efficiency of 70 mpg.
The offer is only available to students with valid 2008 college or university photo identification and for scooter purchases completed by Oct. 15.
Piaggio targets the college student market with the Fly 150.
Piaggio markets the Fly as an ideal choice for students because of its fuel efficiency, ease of use, low-emission four-stroke engine and its low price. The Piaggio Fly 50 tickets for $1,899 while the 150 retails for $2,899. Either model comes in Optic White, Midnight Blue and Excalibur Gray.
