LoJack is also partnering with insurance provider Progressive to offer a 20% discount on comprehensive coverage for Progressive policy holders who have a LoJack system installed on their bikes.

“Bikers are passionate and spend a lot of time and money on their rides,” says Heather Day of Progressive. “We want to make it easier and more affordable for them to protect their prized possessions.”

LoJack’s vehicle recovery system uses small radio transceivers that can easily be hidden on a motorcycle. When a theft is reported, the transceiver sends out a signal that police officers can trace to locate the stolen bike.

The rebate is valid in all 26 states and the District of Columbia where the LoJack system operates, while the insurance discount is currently available to Progressive customers located in eight of those 26 states. Progressive is expected to expand the offer to those remaining states by the end of the year.
