Racing 2 Save Lives at Utah WSBK round

Sales of Pirelli items to benefit charities
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, May. 28, 2009
Racing 2 Save Lives and Pirelli will work together to raise funds during the Miller Motorsports Park round of the World Superbike Championship, May 29-31.

R2SL volunteers will be at the Pirelli tent in the vendor midway near the east end of the Tooele, Utah track to raise money and awareness for R2SL and the Roadracing World Action Fund. R2SL benefits local childrens charities while the Roadracing World Action Fund works to promote racing safety with the use of soft air barriers.

Were inviting all fans to stop by for some snacks and cold water, while perusing some great Pirelli merchandise that we'll have available for purchase, says Ralph Forsythe, president and executive director of R2SL. Pirelli has generously offered to donate 100 percent of the proceeds from the sales of items such as such as books, hats and t-shirts.

R2SL volunteers will also provide information about a charity track day event to be held July 3-5 at Miller Motorsports Park, including the first-ever R2SL Four-Hour Endurance Racde on July 4.
