Piaggio offers 12-month test ride

Scooter customers have a year to decide
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Jun. 03, 2009
Piaggio has announced a new program that lets new scooter customers return their bikes within a year if they are not satisfied.

The 12 Month Test Ride plan gives select customers a chance to see if a scooter is the right choice for them. If they decide within 365 days that they dont want it, buyers can sell it back to dealers.

Its our mission to remove any roadblocks keeping even more Americans from discovering just how much money and time they can save, and how much fun they can have, by adding two wheels to their garage, says Paolo Timoni, president and chief executive officer of Piaggio Group Americas.

Customers have a year to decide if scooters like the Piaggio Fly 150 are the right choice.
The economic, environmental and lifestyle benefits of scooters are proven on a daily basis in major markets around the globe, and we think this hassle-free introduction to scooter ownership is a risk-free way for U.S. consumers to take a trial membership in our American scooter nation.

The 12 Month Test Ride program runs until July 31 and is open to qualified buyers. The offer is available for Piaggios Fly 50, Fly 150, BV Tourer 250 scooters as well as the three-wheeled MP3 250; the Vespa S50, LX150 and GTS300 Super; and the Aprilia Sportcity 50, Sportcity 125, Scarabeo 100 and Scarabeo 200.
