I commute 30 minutes one way everyday on a GSX-R750. I've been averaging over 50 mpg over the last couple of months. Every street/track test I read on this site and in other motorcycle publications the average mpg for sport bikes is always right around 30-35. I certainly don't ride like a grandma, but I'm sure I don't flog my bike like they do in shootout comparisons. What are other people getting out of their bikes, sport or otherwise, in regards to mpg?



(really this is just a shameless look at me posting... but 53mpg when gas prices are 3.50 a gallon for regular I can't help but be proud of myself.)
