Any sportbike comfortable for two people?

I am in the market for a sportbike anywhere from the 600cc to the 1000cc. I'm a fairly experienced rider but not with a sportbike so most likely I need to go with a 600cc bike. I've had two cruisers both 1500 cc and have no problem controlling them, but I realize a cruiser and sportbike don't have much in common other than they have two wheels. My question is this: Is there a nice, reliable, fun and reasonably priced sportbike that is comfortable for two people to ride? Thanks for any help you guys can provide.
