Kawi's Hacking on Pole for Supersport at Daytona; Teammate Roger Lee in 2nd.

Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jamie Hacking set the fastest qualifying lap in the AMA Supersport class, capturing the pole position with a 1:41.801. Teammate Roger Hayden, who holds the current Daytona track record for the fastest lap time in the AMA Supersport class, qualified in the 2nd position with a 1:41.868.

Attack Kawasaki rider Ben Attard was on the gas as well, qualifying in the fourth position just tenths of a second off the leaders. Steve Rapp held the third quickest lap time nearly the entire session and ended up qualifying seventh.

Hacking, Hayden and Attard will represent three of the four front row starting positions in the AMA Supersport race on Thursday afternoon as well as Rapp in the second row.
