At 97,000 miles, my well-maintained Nomad's V-twin engine is still running like a top. Fuel mileage just keeps getting better as the engine loosens up.
I love this bike and would like to keep it for a long, long time. I'm just wondering how far I can go before having to rebuild the motor.
I haven't run into very many motorcyclists who have kept a bike long enough to put six-figure mileage on one.
So the question is, how long do motorcycle engines last these days before they need a rebuild?
