The V-twin engine comes in several variants, from a parallel, 0-degree layout to Harley's 45-degree layout to BMW's 180-degree structure.
You've probably heard that different layouts generate different shaking forces. Well here is an excellent schematic of the different forces generated by different engine layouts. Whether you choose to decifer the equations at the top or just study the dynamic illustrations, enjoy.
