New LS2 Leads '08 Boss Hoss Line Up
Regardless of the growing imposition of emissions standards, Boss Hoss remains optomistic. We are very excited about the new models, especially the LS2, says Rad Hunsley, COO of Boss Hoss. We hope to continue our success with the new models that we have introduced in the past two years and continue to grow as an established manufacturer in the motorcycle community.
All 2008 model Boss Hoss bikes and trikes are fed by electronic fuel injection controlled by a Delphi electronic control module (ECM), and fitted with a redesigned catalytic exhaust system to meet all current EPA and CARB emissions standards. For added comfort, the 2008 model trikes will be offered with an optional Air Ride suspension system produced by Legend Air Suspension, exclusively for Boss Hoss. The once optional Brembo rear disc brake system is now standard equipment on all trikes.
Boss Hoss is the only production made V-8 powered motorcycle in the world with over 4,000 motorcycles sold. These super-sized cruisers feature two-speed semi-automatic transmissions with a real reverse, while the trikes employ a three-speed automatic transmission with reverse. Boss Hoss bikes and trikes are available in three horsepower configurations: 355, 385, and 425 horsepower configurations. Additionally, trikes come in a variety of body styles that are designed after a 57 Chevy, 2000 Sierra Pickup and 32 Roadster!
The new models became available September 1.
