MotoGP 10/11 Released for Playstation 3

Capcom has released the latest version of the MotoGP video game series just in time for the 2011 World Championship season.

“MotoGP 10/11” is now available for the Sony Playstation 3 system in North America for $39.99. A Microsoft Xbox 360 version will be offered in other markets but North Americans will only have access to the Playstation 3 version.

Developed by Monumental Games, “MotoGP 10/11” offers a new physics engine and a new handling system. Also new are customizable player assists for both Arcade and Simulation modes.

Unlike last year's edition, players can race as MotoGP stars like Dani Pedrosa from the start.
MotoGP 10/11 will only be availble on the Sony Playstation 3 for North Americans. Other markets can get the Xbox 360 version.
The Career mode offers a new co-op mode, allowing a second player to join in to race as a teammate, offering a new level of tactics to races. Other modes of play include Championship and Time Trial. Online play allows up to 20 players to race against each other for the championship.

Unlike last year’s game, “MotoGP 09/10”, all of the real riders from the MotoGP, Moto2 and 125cc classes will be available to play from the start. In “MotoGP 09/10”, players had to start with the 125cc class and work their way up before they can access the premier class stars such as Valentino Rossi, Jorge Lorenzo and Casey Stoner.
