KTM offers factory service program

Contingency awards for Motocross, Supercross and Arenacross
By Motorcycle.Com Staff, Dec. 08, 2009
KTM North America announced a new factory service and contingency program for 2010.

The KTM Factory Service Program gives amateurs and privateers the chance to use the same motor and suspension specifications as KTMs factory riders.

KTM riders can purchase factory service equipment from dealers. The existing suspension and motor will be sent to the KTM factory to be serviced by the same race technicians behind the factory machines.

Along with the factory-level service, KTM is offering a contingency program for professional-level Supercross, Motocross and Arenacross. Racers with Factory Service stickers will be eligible for payouts.

Motocross racers can earn $600 for finishing in the top 20 of a moto and $400 for finishing 21st to 40th.

KTM Supercross racers will earn awards for making the main event, with the top ten receiving $600 and 11th to 20th receiving $400.

Arenacross racers can earn awards by finishing in the top five of a moto. Winning a moto earns $700, finishing second nets $500, third earns $400, fourth receives $300 and fifth gets $200 in contingency awards.
