Kawasaki names video contest finalists

Eight entries selected in Ninja 250R tribute contest

Kawasaki has chosen the finalists for its My Ninja 250R video contest.

The My Ninja 250R contest asked motorcycle enthusiasts to share their experiences with the 248cc sportbike which received a new engine, a redesigned exterior, improved suspension and a switch to 17-inch wheels from 16 inches for 2008.

The eight finalists were selected from hundreds of submissions for their creativity, originality and overall impact.

Submitted videos featured themes ranging from creative motorcycle shipping alternatives to David vs. Goliath underdog stories to the meaning of life.

Kawasaki's best-selling motorcycle, the Ninja 250R has provided many riders with great experiences.

The final eight videos are viewable at www.kawasaki.com. A final round of judging will determine the winner who will receive a new 2008 Ninja 250R. Five runner-up entrants will receive replica Kawasaki racing jackets by Joe Rocket.
