Horex Announces New Factory Plans

VR6 production to begin late 2011

Horex announced plans to open a new factory in Augsburg, Germany for production of its VR6 roadster.

Currently located in Garching, Germany, just outside of Munich, Horex will move about 35 miles west to a new facility in Augsburg by mid-2011. Augsburg will host Horexs engineering and test facilities and administrative offices as well as a new production plant.

Production of the Horex VR6 roadster is expected to begin in late 2011. Horex plans to establish a network of approximately 60 dealers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Expansion into other France, Benelux and Italy will proceed in 2012.

Horex has found a new home in Augsburg, Germany, where production of the VR6 Roadster is expected to begin later this year.
