Honda has released a sketch of a new adventure touring model expected to be unveiled at the upcoming EICMA show in Milan.

The new model is expected to be a sibling to the Honda VFR1200F, but with a smaller-displacement V4 engine.

The adventure bike will be one of eight new motorcycles Honda will present at EICMA. Honda had a subdued showing at the 2010 INTERMOT show in Cologne, Germany, displaying only new colors for existing models. The Japanese manufacturer decided to save the big reveals for its return to the Milan show after skipping last year’s EICMA.
