Hodgson joins Corona Honda

Factory Honda crew follows former WSBK champion

Neil Hodgson will race for the factory-supported Corona Honda team in the 2009 AMA American Superbike series.

The 2003 World Superbike Champion will be joined by his crew from the now-defunct American Honda factory team. Hodgson was contracted to American Honda for the 2009 season and rode the teams CBR1000RR in the AMA Pro Racing tire test in December before American Honda decided shut down its factory team. Hodgsons best time was a second faster than any other American Superbike rider.

Hodgson had raced on a Corona Honda bike before, finishing fifth for the team in the Laguna Seca round in 2007. Hodgson will race alongside
